What is a globular cluster?

A globular cluster is a group of stars that can countain up to one million of members.

They are placed in the halo of the galaxy, far of its nucleous..

The stars of globular clusters have got some common properties:

  • they are so much ancient.
  • its distribution is sferical practically.
  • all of they are tied of gratitation form.

Why do we study the globular clusters?

We study the globular clusters becouse they are the most ancient sistems and we can consider it as the astronomic fossils, they allow us to reveal the processes of formation in our galaxy and consequently at all galaxies.
